XGIT™ — Nanoplatelets (GNP)
XGIT™ graphene nanoplatelets (GNP) is a a type of carbon nanoparticles with multi purpose properties. It has a molecular structure comprising a few layers of carbon atoms bonded in a hexagonal structure. It is thought of as a stack of graphene sheets. The unique structure of XGIT™ enables an effective barrier with mechanical, electrical, thermal and lubricating functionalities. This gives XGIT™ the potential to replace existing materials in a wide range of applications.
Graphite Innovation & Technologies (GIT) graphene nanoplatelets have been proven to improve material structures. Mechanically, XGIT™ enhances stiffness, strength and surface hardness.
